Extra width switch plates:
These mount to the top of a tilt block adapter ONLY and increase the width of a pair of Ascalons by 25mm total (12.5mm each side). Reach is also increased by 10mm. Please note these cannot be used in conjunction with extra reach plates.
Extra reach plates (for tilt block adapters) :
These mount to the top of tilt block adapters only, and increase Ascalon reach by 37mm. Please note these cannot be used in conjunction with extra width plates.
Extra reach plates (for non-tilt block adapters) :
These mount to the top of non-tilt block Ascalon adapters only (both dual stack and monopost adapters such as Trek Speed Concept, Cervelo P5 disc, Shiv Disc Tri, Argon 18 Electron Pro etc.) and increase Ascalon reach by 37mm. Please note these cannot be used in conjunction with extra width plates.
Arm rest spacer :
These are 2mm thick and are placed in between the Align Wing arm rest and the Ascalon to increase stack height for the arm rest only.
Arm rest wedge - UCI legality :
Arm rest wedges come with bolts and angled washers and are used to keep within the UCI height restrictions for each rider height category. For all possible combinations within each rider height category, please see HERE
Computer mounts:
These computer mounts have three mounting points and are specific to the Ascalon extensions only, they are incompatible with Angles extensions.
The standard computer mount puts the Garmin / Wahoo level with the inside of the wrists. The high computer mount puts the Garmin / Wahoo just above the level of the wrists (please note that the UCI height measurement is taken from the centre of the arm rests to the highest point on the extensions - this may be the bicycle computer with the high computer mount). Images of both options can be seen in the image section on this page.
For carbon and titanium Ascalons- the standard height computer mount is available in two additional variations - integrated with a) 'with light mount' - including a 22.2mm diameter cylinder attached to allow for a front light (with rubber band attachment) to be used; or b) 'with action camera mount' - please note that here is a weight limit of 120g for accessories mounted underneath the head unit using the action mount.
For titanium Ascalon Elite- the standard and high mount can be used with either a Garmin or Wahoo computer by assembling the quarter turn top section in one of two orientations. There is an optional action camera and light mount attachment available (22.2mm diameter cylinder to allow for a front light with rubber band attachment), and these can be attached to, and removed from, the standard
mount only. Please note that here is a weight limit of 120g for accessories mounted underneath the head unit using the action mount.
Please note that if Ascalons are assembled with a narrow position and a standard computer mount, a smaller Garmin / Wahoo unit should be used (e.g. 500 series Garmin or smaller), so that arm pressure is not put on the computer & mount while riding.
