AeroCoach Zephyr wheelchair wheels are 700c size, fitted with 24h AEOX wheelchair hubs, designed to fit in racing wheelchairs. Zephyr wheelchair wheels are tubeless and clincher compatible, allowing you to use low rolling resistance and high grip tyres for excellent acceleration and high speed rolling scenarios.
Zephyr wheelchair wheels have 6 standoffs that are permanently fixed to the rim, and have a long slot for a wide range of adjustment to accept all pushrim sizes. Please note pushrims are not included, and the standoffs are not removable.
Tyre sizes from 23mm upwards can be used: most wheelchairs will accept up to ~26mm tyres but 28mm and even 30mm will fit on Zephyr rims without issue.
The AEOX hub has a 1/2" axle, and easy to use low profile bearing preload adjusters.
USAGE
AEOX Zephyr wheelchair wheels can be used for track or road events.
TYRE FITTING
AEOX Zephyr wheelchair wheels are designed for tubeless or clincher tyres. Please see our rolling resistance page under the Learn section of the website for more information about tyre choice. We recommend latex or TPU tubes for the best rolling resistance if using tubes. Maximum pressure 100psi.
