AeroCoach Ascalon extensions for 31.8mm round handlebars

Please note: these clamps are only compatible with handlebars that have a 31.8mm diameter round stem clamp section - see below for further specifications

AeroCoach Ascalon clamps for 31.8mm round handlebars allow you to upgrade your road, time trial or triathlon bike with 31.8mm stem to use Ascalon extensions.

Two clamps are placed either side of the stem on a 31.8mm round section of the handlebar, with the ability to increase stack in 10mm increments using optional spacers.

Extension angle can be adjusted by rotating the clamp around the 31.8mm handlebar.

The external width of each 31.8mm clamp is 17mm - you must ensure there is adequate 31.8mm round section either side of your stem for the clamps to fit. We recommend a minimum of 90mm width of 31.8mm round section including the stem clamp area.

ASCALON EXTENSIONS

Ascalon extensions are aerodynamic and lower total system drag by up to 1% compared with Angles extensions. This is worth approximately 2w at 45kph, or 4w at 55kph.
